This price applies to most sections as long as they are flat and have suitable ground conditions, like in new subdivisions. The concrete slab is fully insulated with a Megaform polyblock (ICF) foundation. This is included in the price unlike with some of our competitors. External walls consist of 140mm framing with R3.6 Knauf Glasswool Insulation which give you aprox. 50% more wall insulation than standard 90mm walls.
Your home will be timber clad with horizontal bevelback weatherboards, an all-time classic, stained in a colour of your preference. The corrugate roof will be a light colour so as to prevent excessive heat built-up underneath your 5kW solar panel array. This will make you less vulnerable to price rises in the electricity market, an advantage that can't be understated.
A garage is optional, Timber decks or Concrete Patios can be added on as and when it suits your budget. The price does not include fencing or certain subdivision-specific requirements like pressure sewer tanks, stormwater holding tanks, etc These depend on the individual site covenants. Ask your developer or real estate agent about it.
The plans will typically take only one week to be catered for your specific section and will then be ready for Building Consent application. We take care of this approximate 4 week process for you.
